Just like peanut butter goes with jelly, it also goes great with nutella! Just ask my mom! Her weakness is combining a spoonful of peanut butter, with a spoonful of nutella and eating it together! I guess it tastes like a Reese's Peanut butter cup...I tell her to just buy the candy, but she insists this is better. Anyways! This cookie was definitely a hit with my mom...her two favorite things combined in a cookie?! Yup.
When my Little came to visit me, we decided to bake some treats for our wine/movie night! These were so good and perfect little bite sizes! Which in turn led us to eat about 5-6 without realizing it! Loved the melted chocolate and marshmallow in the middle :) Very addicting!
Yield: 18 cookie cups
Not like this needs an explanation...just look at the picture and your mouth starts watering!! My brother-in-law Paul isn't a big fan of sweets, but he ate about 10 of these within an hour...So safe to say they are delicious!
1. Whisk together brownie mix, flour, and sugar.
2.Using a heavy spoon, stir in the eggs one at a time, followed by butter and 2 tablespoons water. If the batter appears like there is too much flour, add 1 more tablespoon of water. Batter will be very thick.
3. Fold in chocolate chunks
4. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
6. Grease a cookie sheet.
7. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough on the cookie sheet. You want pretty thick cookies here to get the brownie feel, about 3 inches apart. Press down slightly. Don’t flatten completely. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
8. Remove from oven, allow to cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
I love funetti. I love cake. And I love cake batter. Saw this recipe and couldn't resist! I made this with my cute niece Alyssa (Zack and Ashley just wanted to enjoy the final product). She had fun helping me mix in the sprinkles and lick the spoon! The final product was indeed very tasty!! Alyssa and Zack had 2 whole cookies...while my little Ash only had half of one because they were "too sweet" for her. She is like my mom and likes the simple things :) Gotta love her though.
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix and baking powder. In a small bowl, mix together the eggs, oil and vanilla. Add the egg mixture to the cake mixture and stir to combine. Stir in the sprinkles. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet before transferring to cooling rack. They will be very soft at first.
Cool and enjoy!
Stressed is Desserts spelled backwards...
Desserts and I are like peanut butter and jelly, salt and pepper, bacon and eggs....we just go so well together. And if you know, you know my "go-to" night time dessert is ice-cream. If you know me well enough, you know that I have specific brands and specific flavors within those brands that are my favorite.
